Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What type of soap can I use in this automatic foam soap dispenser?
A: This touchless foam soap dispenser is designed to be used with liquid hand soap. For best foaming results, dilute your liquid soap slightly with water if needed. It is not recommended for thick gel soaps or sanitizer gels, as these may not foam correctly through the dispenser mechanism.
Q: How long does the USB rechargeable battery last between charges?
A: The built-in 2000mAh lithium battery supports up to 10,800 individual dispenses per charge, with a standby battery life of approximately 3–6 months depending on usage frequency. A standard USB cable is used for recharging — no battery replacements needed.
Q: Is this soap dispenser waterproof or water-resistant?
A: The dispenser is designed for bathroom and kitchen counter use and is splash-resistant under normal conditions. It should not be submerged in water or placed directly under running water, and the USB charging port should be kept dry at all times.
Q: How sensitive is the infrared sensor, and what is the detection range?
A: The near-field infrared sensor is calibrated to detect hands placed beneath the nozzle at a close range (approximately 3–5cm), activating foam dispensing within 0.25 seconds. This short detection range minimizes accidental triggers while ensuring quick, reliable operation every time.
