Parrot Flight Harness & Leash – Budgie, Cockatiel & Lovebird

Take Your Bird Outdoors Safely & in Style

Introducing the ultra-light parrot flying harness and elastic leash set — the perfect companion for outdoor adventures with your feathered friend. Designed for small to medium parrots including budgerigars, cockatiels, lovebirds, and parrotlets, this harness keeps your bird secure while letting them flutter, perch, and explore freely. Made in Mainland China.

Key Features

• Comfortable Non-Strangulation Fit: Soft, skin-friendly nylon woven straps with gentle inner padding hug your parrot's body without squeezing feathers or rubbing skin. Your bird stays comfortable even during extended outdoor outings.
• Elastic Shock-Absorbing Leash: The high-elasticity polyester core extension rope smoothly absorbs sudden tugs when your parrot takes flight, providing a secure hold without jarring your bird's body. Leash stretches from 2 metres, giving plenty of room to spread those wings.
• Adorable Wing Decoration: Lightweight, non-toxic felt wing decor adds an irresistible cute factor without adding burden. The fun design helps your bird accept the harness more readily and makes every outing a head-turner.
• Adjustable Secure Buckle: Sturdy, non-toxic POM plastic buckles adjust easily to fit chest circumferences of 7–14 cm, accommodating a range of small and medium parrot breeds. The buckle fastens firmly and stays put, even if your bird wriggles or struggles.
• Ultra-Light, Under 8g Total: Every component is crafted from lightweight composite materials. The complete harness and leash set weighs less than 8g — practically weightless — so your parrot can fly, perch, and move exactly as they normally would.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What parrot breeds is this flight harness suitable for?

A: This parrot harness is designed for small to medium parrots with a chest circumference of 7–14 cm. It is ideal for budgerigars (budgies), cockatiels, lovebirds, parrotlets, and similarly sized birds. It is not recommended for very large parrots such as large macaws, as they exceed the adjustable size range.

Q: How do I get my parrot used to wearing the harness?

A: Gradual introduction works best. Start by letting your bird inspect and play with the harness before putting it on. Offer treats as positive reinforcement during each fitting session. The lightweight felt wing decorations are designed to make the harness feel less intimidating, helping reduce your bird's reluctance to wear it. Short indoor sessions before outdoor use are recommended.

Q: Is the harness safe if my parrot tries to chew on it?

A: The harness is made from non-toxic materials including non-toxic felt, non-toxic POM plastic buckles, and nylon webbing — so the components are safe even if your curious bird tries to nibble. However, regular inspection of the harness for wear and tear is always advised to ensure ongoing safety.

Q: How long is the elastic leash when fully extended?

A: The elastic polyester leash stretches from approximately 2 metres, giving your parrot generous space to fly, flutter, and explore while remaining securely tethered to you.
