Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What glass thickness is compatible with this magnetic window cleaner?
A: This magnetic double-sided glass cleaner is designed for single-layer glass windows with a thickness of 3–8mm. It is ideal for most standard home windows, sliding doors, and shower glass panels.
Q: Do I need to wet the cleaning pads before use?
A: Yes. The cleaning cotton pads must be soaked in water before use. The moisture activates the adsorption and ensures the magnetic pads glide smoothly and clean effectively. Using the pads dry will reduce performance.
Q: Can the cleaning pads be replaced when worn out?
A: Absolutely. The inner cleaning cotton pads are fully replaceable. The package includes 2 spare pads, and replacements can be purchased separately to extend the life of your cleaner.
Q: Is this safe to use on upper-floor or hard-to-reach windows?
A: Yes. The cleaner includes a 2.5m anti-falling safety rope that you tie around your wrist, keeping the tool secure even when cleaning elevated or hard-to-reach windows. Always use the rope as a precaution.
