Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this LED trunk light fit my VW Golf or Audi A4?
A: Yes — this LED lamp is specifically designed to be compatible with a wide range of VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) vehicles, including the Audi A4 (B9 8W) from 2016–2020, VW Golf 5/6/7 from 2006–2013, and VW Golf Plus from 2005–2014, among many others. Please check the full compatibility list above and confirm against your owner's manual before purchasing.
Q: Is this light easy to install without a mechanic?
A: Absolutely. This LED lamp is designed as a direct plug-and-play replacement for the factory bulb in the trunk, footwell, or glove box. Most users can complete the swap in just a few minutes with no special tools required.
Q: What does the IP65 waterproof rating mean for a car interior light?
A: IP65 means the lamp is fully protected against dust and resistant to low-pressure water jets. While trunk and interior lights won't typically encounter heavy moisture, the IP65 rating ensures the lamp holds up even if your boot gets wet from rain, groceries, or other spills.
Q: How long will this LED car light last?
A: The LEDs are rated for up to 30,000 hours of operation, far outlasting traditional incandescent bulbs. You should rarely, if ever, need to replace it for the life of your vehicle.
